Hello, I am Lancia Soans, Content Director and Special Contributor for Personoluxe Style, Jet Cabin Freshbook’s newest department and ongoing feature. Every issue going forward, I’ll be taking you on a tour through some of the very latest style trends, luxury products, fashion and destinations. Why me? Well, as a child, I was surrounded by high-style, living and traveling with my parents in Colonial India and abroad. It was a dreamlike upbringing, watching and listening to my mother explain the world around me and instill the values of style. This developed into a natural vocation. Today, from my base in DC, I carry my Mum and Dad’s examples forward, parsing the metamorphosis of style while staying true to timeless and classic elegance infused in the lifestyle of mega-yachts, private aircraft, and luxury residences, uncovering amazing new artisans, designers and style innovators.

Pets on Jets is a concept that has earned JetLogic a warm, fuzzy place with their clients.
In this inaugural edition of PERSŌNALUXE, we celebrate two women pioneers and dreamers, born centuries apart. Amelia Earhart, the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean, and Leigh Mellis among the first women founders to own a private jet aviation company.
Ms. Earhart was born with a vision to conquer the skies, while Ms. Mellis was born with a heart and desire to make jet travel stress free, and memorable for her clients traveling across different time zones.

I asked Ms. Mellis, what are some of her leisure activities she engages in when she is not curating aircrafts for her clients. “Living beside the Scottish hills and windswept beaches means I’m spoiled for choice when it comes to scenic walks with my dogs and family.” It is also natural that a CEO who plans trips for her clients lives her own dreams exploring breathtaking destinations creating memories of her own.
